Company: AFL Display Group Job Title: CABINETMAKER (6 positions) Location: 4-89A Connie Crescent, Concord, ON L4K 1L3 Phone: 905-660-6666 Email: Salary compensation and benefits: Salary: $37/hr, Full-time Contract, 24 months Hours: 35 hours weekly (May be required to work overtime, Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift) Benefits: Dental plan, Health care plan, Group insurance benefits, Life insurance Job Requirement: Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Work setting: Willing to relocate; Custom cabinet shop; Industrial; Millwork shop Transportation/travel information: Willing to travel Valid driver's licence Public transportation is available How to Apply By Email: Job Description Responsibilities/Tasks Operate woodworking machines, such as power saws, jointers, mortisers and shapers, to cut, shape and form parts and components; Shape surfaces or edges of wood workpieces using hand tools, such as planes, chisels, or wood files; Study plans, specifications or drawings of articles to be made; Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete unit and reinforce joints; Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain or polish to finished products; prepare and apply laminated plastics; Apply varnish, veneer, stain or polish to finished products; Repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures and related products; Area of specialization: Cabinets; Built-in units; Millwork; Furniture and cabinet remodeling; Kitchen cabinets and vanities Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment; Manual dexterity; Attention to detail; Standing for extended periods Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots Personal suitability: Organized, Team player, Punctuality Skills:
