We are looking for a dedicated, full-time, permanent Child Caregiver- Private Home with a strong track record of excellence. Private Household - Surrey, BC, Canada Compensation: $20.00/hour for full-time Job Duties: • Childcare and supervision of 3 children: 15-year-old twin girls and a 11-year-old boy. • Supervise and care for children in employer's residence. • Assist with before and after school activities. • Oversee children's activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed by employer. • Discipline child according to the methods requested by the parents. • Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings to provide amusement and exercise. • Plan, prepare and serve meals and may perform other housekeeping duties. • Maintain a healthy environment in the home. Job Description Qualifications: • Successful completion of the equivalent of the Canadian secondary school education. • Child care certificate an asset. First aid certificate an asset. • Some experience in the related field would be an asset. Safety and Security: • Driver’s record check (abstract), Driver’s license validity check, Criminal record check, and Reference required. Important Information: Work Schedule: 9 am to 5 pm. (40 hrs per week) Overtime and weekend work might be required depending on the parents’ work schedules.
