ABC Kitchen/Kim Chau Deli is looking for full-time permanent Production Supervisor to join our busy team!

Position: Production Supervisor - Food processing (NOC 92012)

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (30-40 hours per week), Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Shift, Flexible hours, To be determined

Vacancies: 1

Hourly Wage: $36.00 to $38.00

Expected Start Date: As soon as possible

Work Location: 3109 5 AV NE Calgary, AB T2A 6C9

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Oversee, coordinate, and schedule the activities of production workers involved in meat and seafood processing

- Monitor production processes to ensure products meet quality, hygiene, and food safety standards

- Train staff on proper meat and seafood handling, processing techniques, equipment use, and safety procedures

- Inspect raw materials and finished products to ensure consistency, quality, and regulatory compliance

- Conduct regular inventory checks of raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods to ensure adequate stock levels

- Prepare and maintain production records, quality control reports, and staff schedules

- Identify and resolve operational or staffing issues to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency

- Recommend improvements to workflow, equipment use, and production processes

- Perform other related duties as assigned by the business owner or management, as required

Position Requirements and Qualifications:

- Completion of secondary school

- 3-5 years experience in food handling or related field

- Previous supervisory or managerial experience is an asset

- Strong organization, problem-solving skills, detail-oriented

- Efficient interpersonal skills, Flexibility, Hardworking, Positive attitude, Quick learner, Team player

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

- Fast-paced environment, Standing for extended periods, Physically demanding, Handling heavy loads.

- Weigh handling up to 23kg (50lbs)
