Senior Maximo Functional Analyst/ Maximo Solution Architect:Randstad Canada

Description de l'offre:

We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior Maximo (MAS) Functional Analyst (Maximo Solution Architect) for an enterprise contract opportunity based in Toronto. In this role, you will take on a premier enterprise asset management (EAM) consulting, functional architecture, and business transformation capacity, specializing in the functional design, requirements elicitation, and operational alignment for IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS).

As a Senior Maximo (MAS) Functional Analyst, you will bridge the gap between operational business stakeholders, subject matter experts (SMEs), and technical configuration teams. Operating within a hybrid model in Toronto, you will lead discovery workshops, map current- and future-state workflows, perform fit/gap analyses, and translate operational needs into detailed functional specifications across MAS Manage, Health, Predict, and Asset Condition Management (ACM). This position demands an IBM Maximo functional authority with extensive hands-on experience spanning Maximo 7.6.1+ through MAS 8.x/9.x, robust knowledge of core EAM processes, and testing lifecycle leadership to ensure seamless system adoption and operational excellence.

Location: Toronto, ON

Assignment Type: Hybrid (2 to 3 days per week onsite)

Contract Duration: 12-month contract (with potential for 12-month extension)

Advantages
Modern MAS Platform: Lead functional solution design across IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS 8.x/9.x), including Manage, Health, Predict, and ACM modules.

Balanced Hybrid Model: Enjoy work-life flexibility with a structured schedule requiring 2 to 3 days onsite in Toronto.

Long-Term Engagement: Secure an initial 12-month contract with strong potential for an additional 12-month extension.

End-to-End Functional Impact: Drive complete transformation lifecycles from initial business requirements and process mapping to UAT, training, and go-live hypercare.

Responsibilities
Lead and facilitate business requirements discovery workshops with operational stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs).

Elicit, analyze, document, and validate functional requirements for MAS Manage and related platform modules.

Map current-state workflows and design optimized future-state business processes for core Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) domains.

Perform comprehensive fit/gap analyses comparing existing business processes against standard MAS Manage capabilities and provide actionable configuration recommendations.

Author detailed functional specifications, configuration design documents, process flows, use cases, and requirements traceability matrices for technical implementation teams.

Partner closely with MAS Technical Consultants and Configurators to ensure system configuration decisions strictly align with business intent.

Support the functional design and operational validation for Asset Condition Management (ACM), Health, and Predict, including condition monitoring points and condition-based maintenance (CBM) strategies.

Lead functional data migration planning, legacy-to-MAS data mapping, data validation, and post-load reconciliation.

Develop functional test strategies, test scenarios, and user acceptance test (UAT) scripts, and lead defect triage alongside technical teams through resolution.

Plan end-user training programs, develop functional user guides and job aids, and conduct SME walkthroughs and platform demonstrations.

Provide functional cutover support, go-live readiness guidance, and post-implementation hypercare stabilization.

Participate in project status meetings, governance reviews, and milestone reporting.
