Job Summary
The Business Support Analyst (BSA) I will be responsible for providing technical support for day-to-day operations within IPTL. The BSA I will be responsible for (i) supporting invention disclosure and prosecution processes, (ii) compliance with reporting requirements, including by leading disclosures to iEdison and similar databases, (iii) liaising with internal and external stakeholders including but not limited to students, faculty, licensees, vendors, and outside advisors, and (iv) superviseing IPTL's outside counsel and vendor invoicing.

Minimum Qualifications
Associate's Degree and 2 years of  professional work practice that is directly related to the position. significant combinations of education, training and professional work practice will be considered.

• Demonstrated capability to lgain new technologies and maintain technical accuracy
• Analytical expertise for evaluating and testing computer software for application to a variety of work processes
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, documentation and writing expertise

• capability to work effective under pressure and meet goals and deadlines
• capability to lgain quickly, analyze complex issues and provide advanced troubleshooting
• capability to communicate and cooperate effectively with colleagues and users in a diverse environment
• capability to work both independently and as a team member

Shift
Business Hours: Monday - Friday

Starting income/Rate
Expected hiring range: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Pay transparency disclosure: The selected candidate's income will be determined located on factors that include the available budget, internal equity, and the final candidate's qualifications, practice, education and other job-related credentials. This hiring range is provided as Rensselaer's good faith estimate of the expected hiring range at the time of posting.
