Job Summary The Project Coordinator, Sr. is responsible for planning, scheduling and coordination of construction projects directed by Physical Plant and Campus Planning & Facilities Design. During the course of those projects, the Project Coordinator will function as a cost estimator, project scheduler and administrator. Minimum Qualifications • Associate Degree in Construction Technology or related field • 5 years' practice in building maintenance and/or project management • Driver's license significant combinations of education, training and practice may be considered. Preferred Qualifications Minimum expertise, expertise, and Abilities • capability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications and related documents • Requires expertise of cost estimating for architectural/general construction portion of projects • Strong planning, organizing and effective time management expertise • capability to direct and coordinate work efforts of staff • capability to work effectively under pressure and meet established goals and objectives • capability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with other employees, faculty, and students in the campus community Preferred expertise, Skill, and Abilities • Familiarity with construction project means and methods required to accomplish the architectural/general portion of a renovation project, i.e., equipment, tools, trade needs, etc. • expertise of interior design for selection of materials, finishes, furniture, etc. • capability to create working drawings for project designs Shift Business Hours: Monday - Friday TravelLocal travel between campus locations only Driving Driving a personal vehicle for non-passenger use Starting income/Rate Expected hiring range: $70,000 - $82,247 Pay transparency disclosure: The selected candidate's income will be determined located on factors that include the available budget, internal equity, and the final candidate's qualifications, practice, education and other job-related credentials.
