Director Business Effectiveness

Overview

Hudson Valley Credit Union is currently recruiting for a Director Business Effectiveness. Primary Function: Responsible for enhancing business effectiveness by leading change initiatives, coaching employees and teams, and by driving continuous improvement across the organization. Inspire and engage employees while optimizing efficiency and training programs.
Responsibilities
   » Drive continuing efforts to improve processes, products, and services, ensuring maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
   » Serve as a utility player on Member Ops leadership abilities team by providing  strategic direction and guidance to teams, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
   » Develop and implement coaching programs to enhance employee expertise and performance.
   » Lead and manage organizational change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and lasting benefits.
   » Design and deliver training programs that equip employees with the expertise and expertise needed to succeed.
   » Optimize resources and processes to achieve the best possible results with minimal waste.  Leverage technology and tools to make data-driven decisions.
   » Create and implement strategies to foster a positive work environment where employees feel valued and connected to the organization's goals. Drive EOS action planning and execution activities.
   » Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. Participate in all required and recommended training and development including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act training (BSA) and demonstrate attained expertise. Participate on Credit Union teams, projects and strategic initiatives when the opportunity arises. Perform additional tasks and special projects as assigned.
   » Embrace and apply HVCU’s guiding principles to all activities and responsibilities. This includes the Credit Union’s Mission, Vision, Core Values, Employee and Member Value Propositions, Sales and Service Model, and commitment to Lean Six Sigma practices. Support the Credit Union’s initiatives by demonstrating teamwork and professionalism.
   » Responsible for regular and predictable attendance including punctuality.
Qualifications
   » Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, or comparable practice required. 
   » Minimum 15 years in leadership abilities, coaching, change management and continuous improvement required.
   » Certifications in Lean Six Sigma and Change Management required.
