Job Summary The Business Support Analyst III/Trainer (BSA) is responsible for defining and delivering training for Institute Advancement staff with a focus on the central fundraising system. The BSA prepares training materials and delivers training to onboard new employees, and provides customized function-located training on fundraising database functionality and coordinates training provided by outside vendors as necessary. The BSA provides project and technical support, customer service, and reporting solutions in support of everyday operations. The BSA will work both independently and within a team to deal with business needs using approved technological solutions and ensure systems are configured for maximum productivity. Minimum Qualifications » Bachelors degree » 3 or more years significant professional work practice. » practice working with an enterprise information system utilizing a large relational database and connected SQL (Structured Query Language) compliant tools. » practice working with enterprise level applications with a demonstrated capability to design, implement, research and analyze data. » significant combination of education, training and directly related work practice in a comparable position may be substituted for degree. Preferred Qualifications » practice in training preparation and presentation » practice in Higher Education environment » practice in Project Management » practice with Ellucian or related Higher Education Software » practice with Business Intelligence concepts and tools Minimum expertise, expertise, and Abilities » Intermediate level expertise of Microsoft Office as well as email and calendar software » expertise for technical writing including the capability to write policies and procedures » Proven expertise in training preparation and presentation » capability to translate customer problems into technological solutions » capability to take initiative and to define priorities for assignments » capability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment » Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications expertise » Planning, organizing and effective time management expertise » capability to analyze and interpret data and systems » capability to anticipate and solve problems » capability to lgain new software, software tools and techniques » capability to work effectively under pressure and meet established goals and objectives, independently or in a team environment Preferred expertise, Skill, and Abilities » Familiarity with institutional advancement software desirable » Familiarity with content authoring and video training tools Shift Business Hours with weekends or evenings occasionally required TravelLocal travel between campus locations only Driving Incidental driving possible, but not required income Range/Rate Expected hiring range : $68,000-$75,000 Pay transparency disclosure: The selected candidate's income will be determined located on factors that include the available budget, internal equity, and the final candidate's qualifications, practice, education and other job-related credentials.
