Credentialing SpecialistOverviewWe are pursuing a detail-oriented and organized Credentialing Specialist to join our team. In this function, you will be responsible for verifying the qualifications and credentials of healthcare providers to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Your skills will play a crucial function in maintaining the integrity of our medical office and supporting managed care operations. tasks » Conduct thorough background checks on healthcare providers, including education, training, licensure, and work history » Ensure all credentialing processes comply with established standards and regulations » Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the credentialing database » Collaborate with medical staff to gather necessary documentation for credentialing applications » Review and analyze medical terminology to assess provider qualifications effectively » Communicate with insurance companies and managed care organizations regarding provider credentials » Assist in the development and implementation of credentialing policies and procedures » Stay informed about changes in regulations affecting credentialing practices practice » Excellent Computer skills including Outlook, Excel, Word, and internet use » Previous practice in a medical office setting is preferred (not required) » Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are required to manage multiple credentialing tasks efficiently » capability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with team members Type of employment: Full-time Pay: Starting $25.00 per hour Expected hou rs: 40 per week Benefits: » Dental insurance » Health insurance » Paid time off Schedule: » 8 hour shift » Day shift » Monday to Friday suitable education » High school or equivalent (Required) capability to Commute: » Modena, NY 12548 (Required) Work Location : In person Profil / Compétences:
