adjunct Branch Manager

Overview

Hudson Valley Credit Union is currently recruiting for the position of adjunct Branch Manager I Universal Model. Primary Function: Engage and develop the Universal Branch Associates ensuring high quality service to members through prosperous implementation of our consultative, needs located selling approach. Implement a service model that transitions members to self-service options for routine transaction processing. Responsible for overall branch operations driving branch and corporate goal attainment.
Responsibilities
   » Create an environment of accountcapability by setting clear expectations, goals and objectives to drive results and providing consistent coaching and development to branch staff
   » Monitor branch results daily. Evaluate effectiveness of current sales coaching and development activities and adjust tactics to increase branch results. Support marketing programs to drive branch growth.
   » Drive quality through evaluation of branch metrics and observation. Work with Branch Manager to develop actionable plans for quality.
   » Interview, hire and develop Universal Branch Associates. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings to communicate organizational and/or departmental changes, updates and process improvements as well as to collaborate with employees on their on-going development plans.
   » Responsible for all aspects of branch operations including cash operations, completion of branch audits, security and regulatory compliance. Ensure the branch traffic is managed effectively to seamlessly transition members to the appropriate area of the branch for service.
   » Create work schedules and assignments forUniversal Branch Associates that minimize member wait times and maximize employee availcapability. Ensure the branch traffic is managed effectively to seamlessly transition members to the appropriate area of the branch for service.
   » Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. Participate in all required and recommended training and development including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act training (BSA) and demonstrate attained expertise. Participate on Credit Union teams, projects and strategic initiatives when the opportunity arises. Perform additional tasks and special projects as assigned.
   » Embrace and apply HVCU's guiding principles to all activities and responsibilities. This includes the Credit Union's Mission, Vision, Core Values, Employee and Member Value Propositions, Enhanced Sales and Service Model, and commitment to Lean Six Sigma practices. Support the Credit Union's initiatives by demonstrating teamwork and professionalism.
   » Responsible for regular and predictable attendance including punctuality.

Qualifications
   » Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years equivalent practice for each undergraduate year not completed; undergraduate degree cannot substitute for minimum number of years of practice required
   » NYS Notary Public license achieved within 12 months of obtaining position required
   » Minimum 3 Years managery or leadership abilities practice in a financial institution or retail environment practice required
   » Minimum 1 Year Sales and customer service practice in a financial institution or retail environment practice required
