The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, possess strong clinical expertise, and exhibit a high level of professionalism. This is a full-time position with no weekend requirements, offering competitive compensation and opportunities for professional growth. Registered Nurse Qualifications required » Valid RN license in the state of New York. » Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice, preferably in a medical office setting. » practice with OPWDD population a plus » Strong communication and interpersonal expertise. » capability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. » Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems. » BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred. » Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care. Registered Nurse Responsibilities: » Conduct physical assessments and take medical histories of patients. » Administer medications and treatments; perform medical procedures like blood draws and vaccinations. » Educate and support patients and families regarding conditions, treatments, and home care. » Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans. » Monitor patient conditions, document care, and respond to health status changes. » Respond to emergencies and perform life-saving measures. » Support developmental milestones and use play therapy. » Engage in continuing education and mentor nursing students or new staff. » Coordinate with other departments and manage supplies.
