Sr Technical Project ManagerOverviewHudson Valley Credit Union is currently recruiting for the position of Sr Technical Project Manager. Primary Function: responsible for leading, planning, and executing complex IT projects that support the strategic initiatives of the credit union. this function ensures technology solutions are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and align with the organization’s operational goals and compliance requirements. Responsibilities » Lead and manage cross-functional IT projects from initiation through deployment and closure, including core banking system upgrades, digital banking enhancements, cybersecurity initiatives, and infrastructure upgrades and improvements. » Partner with the business to translate needs into technology solutions and ensure alignment with the credit union’s strategic goals. » Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables with clear success criteria. » Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocations, and risk management. » Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to ensure project goals are met and delivered. » Drive continuous improvement in project management processes, methodologies, and tools. » Provide project communication plans and utilize reporting practices including status updates to executive leadership abilities. » supervise vendor management and contract negotiation as it pertains to IT project delivery. » Ensure compliance with financial regulatory standards, IT security policies, and data privacy laws. » Mentor junior project managers and contribute to the development of IT portfolio management best practices within the organization. » Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. Participate in all required and recommended training and development including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act training (BSA) and demonstrate attained expertise. Participate on Credit Union teams, projects and strategic initiatives when the opportunity arises. Perform additional tasks and special projects as assigned. » Embrace and apply HVCU’s guiding principles to all activities and responsibilities.
