Job Summary The Program Manager leads operational and administrative management of the Fashion Innovation Center (FIC), including for the FIC's innovative business accelerator, funded research, industry development, education and outreach, and service-related programs. This includes program planning and establishment and implementation of overall operating plans, policies, procedures, and standards in conformity with established program objectives. The Program Manager will also establish and develop tracking of program activities, spending, and results, and collaborate and contact with external constituencies on programmatic and administrative issues. The Program Manager will provide the Director with information and metrics for progress reports to NY State. Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field. • 3+ years of related and progressively responsible practice including project management practice. A significant combination of education, directly related practice, and training may be substituted for a degree. Preferred Qualifications Minimum expertise, expertise, and Abilities • expertise of research-related computer software and/or capability to lgain job specific software programs. • expertise of the administration, planning, and implementation of research projects. • Strong computer expertise including with Microsoft Office Suite (including Powerpoint, Excel, and Word) and similar collaboration tools such as Google Docs and WordPress. • capability to work effectively under pressure and meet established goals and objectives. • capability to gather and analyze data, compile information, prepare reports and maintain a record-keeping system. • capability to provide coordination, management, and development and/or implementation of projects. • Strong interpersonal expertise and the capability to work effectively with a wide variety of constituencies in a diverse community including faculty, staff, students, and industry and government participants. • Excellent organizational and time management expertise and the capability to establish priorities. • Strong written and verbal communication expertise. • Demonstrated writing and editing expertise. • capability to work effectively with all members of campus community in the scheduling of activities Shift Business Hours: Monday - Friday TravelLocal travel between campus locations only Driving Incidental driving possible, but not required Starting income/Rate Expected hiring range: $60,000 - $70,000 per year Pay transparency disclosure: The selected candidate's income will be determined located on factors that include the available budget, internal equity, and the final candidate's qualifications, practice, education and other job-related credentials.
