Flynn Group of Companies is seeking a Roofing Service Account Manager to join our Ottawa branch. This is a relationship-driven, client-facing role ideal for someone who thrives in sales, enjoys building long-term partnerships, and wants to grow their career in a dynamic construction and service environment. This position is Monday-Friday, with flexibility required to support client needs. What We Offer Up to 10% KPI-based bonus $450/month vehicle allowance + gas card Annual golf tournament, summer BBQs, and holiday events Ongoing training through Flynn University and eLearning Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits, including: Dental and supplemental medical plans RRSP contributions Employee & Family Assistance Program A Day in the Life Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients Actively generate new business Conduct frequent client meetings, site visits, and presentations Attend local networking and industry events Identify client needs and recommend roofing service solutions Prepare and present estimates, proposals, and service solutions Review drawings, blueprints, and specifications Follow up on quotes, tenders, and opportunities to close business Collaborate with local and national teams to support key accounts Support light project management and coordination of service work Manage a flexible schedule that supports ongoing relationship-building and business development Requirements A diploma in Architectural Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, or a similar construction-related program 3 to 5 years of experience in a construction-related role such as Estimating, Project Management, or Project Coordination Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand building envelope and roofing systems Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships Excellent communication and presentation abilities Sales mindset with the drive to grow business and meet targets Ability to understand construction drawings/specifications Customer-focused with a high level of responsiveness Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle Ability to pass a criminal background check Flynn Group of Companies is the leading trade contractor in North America that works on virtually every aspect of a building’s outer layer, including Roofing, Glazing, Waterproofing, and Architectural Metals.
