VISITING adjunct PROFESSOR OF MATHEMATICSVisiting adjunct Professor of MathematicsThe Department of Mathematics at Union College welcomes applications for a 3-year visiting adjunct professor position. The start date for the appointment will be September 1, 2024. The position is open to candidates who will have a Ph.D. in mathematics or applied mathematics by September 2024, who have strong teaching credentials in undergraduate mathematics, and who have a record of scholarly achievement that suggests a continuing commitment to scholarship. At Union, institutional expectations and support are balanced between teaching and research; candidates should demonstrate excellence in both areas. The teaching load is two courses per trimester. The income range for this job offer is $67,000-69,000, commensurate with practice.
