PT Janitor FDR Hyde ParkJOB DESCRIPTIONRate: $22.47Shift: M-F 5pm-8pm POSITION SUMMARY Perform janitorial assignments at Gateway Hudson Valley and off-site commercial and private locations. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES » Responsible for the completion of assigned janitorial work within specified time frames and to specified quality levels of each contract. » Inform the manager Janitorial Services of all cleaning and personnel issues or needs. » Act as a representative of Gateway and deal with customers in a professional and courteous manner. » Responsible for all equipment and supplies assigned. » Participate in training programs for professional growth as scheduled and approved. » Demonstrate positive work attitudes and habits as a function model. » May be required to work alternate shifts with notice, which may or may not be permanent. » Maintain a work environment in a clean, organized and safe manner. » Use all required safety devices and personal protective equipment. » Perform work tasks in a safe manner, and do not take unsafe ?short cuts?. » Conduct everyday inspections of immediate work area(s) to look for unsafe conditions. » Ensure all accidents are promptly reported to immediate manager and Human Resources. » Be familiar with the Safety and Health Accident avoidance Program and abide by all safety and health rules, work practices, and regulations. » Responsible for knowledge and adhering to Gateway Hudson Valley's Corporate Compliance Policy and Standards of Conduct as well as all applicable program rules, regulations and policies. » Perform other tasks as assigned.
