Job Summary
The adjunct Coach for Women's Ice Hockey assists the Head Coach in the management and administration of a Division I Hockey program. The core responsibilities of the adjunct Coach are to recommend, implement and execute a prosperous recruiting philosophy and strategy to ensure student-athletes are committed and engaged academically, athletically, and socially. In addition, the adjunct Coach is responsible for preparing and developing student-athletes both on and off the ice with instruction of an academic and personal nature.

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree
• One year of practice related to ice hockey including playing, practice supervising, communicating with, and instructing student-athletes and prospective student-athletes
• Must possess valid US driver's license
candidates must meet stated minimum education and practice requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• expertise of NCAA regulations and guidelines governing the recruitment and retention of student-athletes.
• Familiarity of athletic recruitment methods and techniques.

TravelRegular overnight travel is required (up to 25%)

Driving a personal vehicle for non-passenger use

Starting income/Rate
Expected hiring range: $55,500
Pay transparency disclosure: The selected candidate's income will be determined located on factors that include the available budget, internal equity, and the final candidate's qualifications, practice, education and other job-related credentials. This hiring range is provided as Rensselaer's good faith estimate of the expected hiring range at the time of posting.
