As an Airport Security Guard, you will play an important role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for passengers, employees, and airport operations. Hourly wage of $20.09 We will invest in you by covering the costs of continuing education through GardaWorld Academy Flexible schedules with various shifts available Career growth opportunities within GardaWorld Full-time and part-time opportunities Uniform provided at no cost Opportunities to gain valuable experience in the aviation security industry A professional and supportive work environment Responsibilities for Airport Security Guard Maintain a safe and secure environment throughout the airport Monitor and patrol assigned areas Control access to restricted areas Conduct security screening and inspections as required Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms Provide professional and courteous customer service to passengers and airport personnel Prepare reports and document incidents accurately Follow all airport, client, and GardaWorld security procedures Work closely with airport authorities, GardaWorld management, and other stakeholders Qualifications for Airport Security Guard Be authorized to work in Canada Excellent communication and customer service skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Strong observation and problem-solving skills Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to work flexible schedules, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays Previous security or customer service experience is considered an asset Previous airport or aviation security experience is considered an asset This could be more than a job!
