Expected Start Date: November 07, 2026 Union: SUN Facility: Carlyle Community Services Building City/Town: Carlyle Department: Home Nursing Type: Casual FTE: 0 Shift Information: Days Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Home Care Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse A $38.580 to $50.070 Travel Required: Yes Job Description: The Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RN/RPN) is accountable for promoting high quality care through assessing, planning, implementing, documenting and evaluating the total care needs of our patients/residents/clients (P/R/Cs). The RN/RPN is required to coordinate with all the departments within the facility, families and professionals associated with P/R/Cs care. The RN/RPN must promote effective communication in the facility through care given and reporting mechanisms. The RN/RPN is expected to participate in staff meetings and educational opportunities to maintain their own professional competence. Human Resources Exemption: No Education Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Other Education and Training Nursing diploma is acceptable Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS) Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable Competencies Basic - Interpersonal skills Knowledge and Abilities Ability to competently use computers and software applications Ability to make decisions, which must include coordination of staffing Ability to make decisions on patient care and coordination of equipment Communication skills to provide/obtain verbal and/or written opinions/advice Ability to communicate with clients from diverse backgrounds Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team Other Information Valid Class 5 driver's license May be eligible for Recruitment and/or Retention Incentives Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) For more information on the town of Carlyle please visit Registered/eligible with College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of SK - CRPNS Carlyle is located approximately 200 km east of Regina Access to a reliable vehicle No guaranteed hours Skills:
