Expected Start Date: October 26, 2026 Union: SUN Facility: New Hope Pioneer Lodge City/Town: Stoughton Department: Home Nursing Type: Part-time regular FTE: 0.4 Shift Information: Days Number of Hours per Rotation: 89.6 hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Home Care Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse A $38.580 to $50.070 Travel Required: Yes Job Description: The Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RN/RPN) is accountable for promoting high quality care through assessing, planning, implementing, documenting and evaluating the total care needs of our patients/residents/clients (P/R/Cs). The RN/RPN is required to coordinate with all the departments within the facility, families and professionals associated with P/R/Cs care. The RN/RPN must promote effective communication in the facility through care given and reporting mechanisms. The RN/RPN is expected to participate in staff meetings and educational opportunities to maintain their own professional competence. Human Resources Exemption: No Education Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Licenses Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS) Other Education and Training Nursing diploma is acceptable Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable Competencies Intermediate - Interpersonal skills Knowledge and Abilities Ability to competently use computers and software applications Ability to keep effective work relationships with clients of diverse backgrounds Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
