Benefits/Perks: » Includes accrued vacation days, sick days, and holidays. » Participation in 403 (b) » Voluntary Benefits: Short Term Discapability, Life Insurance, Cancer Insurance, Pet Insurance » Discounted memberships: Plum Benefits, NYSC Gym » Pay for work-related eligible commuter expenses with pre-tax dollars Responsibilities Responsibilities: » Coordinates the care of Residents through collaboration with other departments. » Communicates with families regarding the Resident's plan of care and any changes in the condition of the Resident. » Receives and communicates information to the staff and keeps Director of Nursing/adjunct Director of Nursing informed of needs and current developments. » Evaluates rotation of staff and adjusts section assignments as needed. » Promotes positive public relations for the nursing unit and department. » Responsible for conducting monthly meetings and educating staff on new policies relating to the nursing department. » supervises the implementation of new policies and procedures and periodically reviews current procedures, working in collaboration with the Director of Staff Development as needed. » Directs volunteers assigned to the unit with the assistance of the Registered Nurse.
