Livestock/4-H Livestock, Equine, & Dairy Program ManagerCornell Cooperative Extension is seeking a Livestock, Equine & Dairy Program Manager to assist in providing strategic development, planning, conducting, and evaluating of educational programs for livestock producers and 4-H Youth including, but not exclusive to: beef, sheep, swine, equine, dairy and poultry. this job offer will develop, design, implement and evaluate educational programs in the area of forage production and pasture and manure management. This is a full-time, exempt, 40 hours per week, benefits eligible position. Under the guidance of the Program Leader, this job offer will develop program objectives and plans, will require use of multiple delivery methods, and supervise multiple projects. Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Food Sciences, Education, Biology, Natural Resources, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or related field. Good working expertise and practice with current software, MS Office, Qualtrics, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Outlook Calendar. capability to work well and establish effective working relationships with a wide variety of Orange County residents, farm owners, and staff while creating a hig-quality and respectful work environment.
