Training Project Mgr

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Training Project Manager, you will manage various community grants and contracts for the Sidney Albert Training and Research Institute (SATRI). Additionally, you will supervise training staff. You will report to the Director of SATRI and will work onsite.
SATRI provides curriculum design, development, and training to internal professionals and those served by external contracts executed by the Institute. The contracts may be with several departments within the State of New York, School Districts, Human Service Agencies, or community-located entities.
Responsibilities:
   » Manage and coordinate the marketing, scheduling, billing, and collections for new and current external training contracts, including those through school districts, local voluntary agencies, public service entities, colleges, universities, and other community-located programs.
   » Serve as the primary contact for grant funders in matters of programmatic, fiscal, and reporting needs as required per the contract including but not limited to: arranging, scheduling, and tracking training sessions; collect attendance from training sessions; schedule and coordinate meetings; create, collect, and analyze attendee data.
   » Provide supervision to assigned SATRI trainers and/or regional coaches, providing them with the expertise, expertise, and tools necessary to execute their job responsibilities.
   » Review various SATRI contracts and agreements for the provision of training, services, and consultation.
   » Assist in the development, organization and coordination of statewide training contracts.
   » Execute training as needed on various contracts.
   » Assist in the provision of appropriate in-service training for staff members and community partners.
   » Assist in the monitoring of contract deliverables and ensure deadlines are met.
   » Manage all required documentation, including collaboration with agency departments for managing contracts, submitting reports, etc.
   » Assist in the development and compliance of the Program budgets.
   » Participate in all state level collaborative activities between stakeholders.
   » Engage regional local government units and voluntary foster care agencies to foster the development of a robust regional coaching network.
   » Participate in the development of products, including needs assessment, general standards, internal and external training curriculum, and development and delivery of targeted trainings.
   » Attend all necessary trainings, symposiums and conferences each year.
   » Collaborate with stakeholders on all matters necessary.
   » Communicate in support of effective statewide collaboration.
   » Coordinate regional participation in statewide needs assessments.
Requirements and suitable education
   » Requires at least three years of practice, or a Bachelor's degree.
   » Requires practice and/or expertise of the fields of Human Services, Child Welfare, or Elementary Education.
   » practice managing a program, business unit, and/or contracts desired.
   » Must have a valid NYS drivers license.
