POSITION OVERVIEW

Clinician/Social Worker, Intensive Aftercare avoidance Program
Licensed Social Workers are eligible for a $7,500 signing bonus!

The Intensive Aftercare avoidance Program (IAPP) is a home-located program assisting families who have children in foster care or children who are at risk of being placed in foster care.this job offer is responsible for providing home-located clinical services with children and their families to help preserve or reunite them in conformity with Northeast Parent & Child Society'sstated purpose and mission of protecting children, preserving families and strengthening communities.
What an IAPP Clinician in our can except at Northern Rivers:
   » Provide home and community located assessment, planning and treatment with individuals, groups and families with those enrolled in our Family Preservation services (the level of intensity / number of direct services hours per family is dependent upon the services in which one is employed)
   » Complete necessary all records and client information in conformity with agency, county, and state policy and funding requirements
   » Continue expertise development through agency-provided clinical / core training
   » Provide liaison contact with collateral resources such as referring agencies, schools, family court, and other agency personnel serving on behalf of a child and/ or family as it relates to their treatment
   » Primarily responsible for the clinician decisions when assigned and paired to work as a team with a Bachelors Clinician (Family Case Manager or Clinician Case Manager).
   » Ensure provisions of regular treatment plan meetings and services plan reviews.
   » capability and availability to do the job as it is today and change as the job changes.
EDUCATION and/or practice
   » Requires a Masters degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or related field
   » Minimum of one year of post-graduate practice.
CERTIFICATION / LICENSURE
   » License Preferred: LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT
   » Must have a valid drivers license.
