Job Summary The Operations Associate is responsible for scheduling all institute classrooms and assisting Associate Registrar with registration-related processes. Minimum Qualifications » HS Diploma or GED » Two years of related practice or significant combination of practice, education and/or training candidates must meet stated minimum education and practice requirements. Preferred Qualifications » practice in a student service-related office » practice in customer service Minimum expertise, expertise, and Abilities » Excellent customer service expertise and capability to interact with a diverse population in a professional manner » Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational and interpersonal expertise » Proficiency with an database software applications » Excellent attention to detail » Proficiency with MS Office (word, excel, Outlook) » capability to foster team spirit in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment » capability to work independently and as a member of a team Job tasks » Assign classroom space for classes, meetings/events, and exams optimizing classroom utilization. » Assist the Registrar and adjunct Registrar with maintaining the university catalog of courses in the Banner Student Information System and assist with the functional administration of other systems (i.e. EMS and Acalog) ensuring the integrity of data between all systems. » Assist adjunct Registrar with minor changes to the Class Hour Schedule » Maintains inventory of instructional facilities. Maintains accurate information on classroom utilization using scheduling software. » Create the master semester final exam schedule to verify that all sections have adequate time and space to meet the final exam requirements. » Participate in new student orientation (assist students with registration), graduation fair and graduation status check. » Assist and process special and individualized registrations, i.e. conflicts and authorized approval forms, independent study and URP forms and pass/no credit.
