Cashier General Requirements: » Excellent customer service expertise » capability to handle transactions accurately and efficiently » Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends » Strong attention to detail and problem-solving expertise Cashier Responsibilities: » Efficiently check out customer purchases using correct prices, PLUs, and departments. » Handle payments via cash, check, credit cards, EBT, and gift cards, ensuring accurate change is given. » Contact the Manager on Duty for price overrides, returns, or other management functions. » Assist with bagging purchases and offer help to customers needing assistance with carrying out groceries. » Open and close registers following established procedures, including balancing the cash drawer at the end of the shift. » Promote specials, upcoming events, and monthly donation programs to customers at checkout.
