Logistics CoordinatorOur client, located in Milton (Ulster County), urgently requires a Logistics Coordinator to join their team. The primary responsibility of the Logistics Coordinator will be to collaborate closely with team members, ensuring exceptional customer service and fostering positive relationships with clients and vendors. You will be the point of contact for handling inquiries, resolving complaints, and troubleshooting issues related to the client's products and services.Logistics Coordinator General Requirements: » 2-3 years of practice in logistics customer service. » Background in manufacturing or warehousing will be advantageous. » Proficiency in computer expertise, particularly Excel and CRM software, with strong typing abilities. » Excellent phone etiquette and presentation expertise. » Highly detail-oriented with a proactive approach to delivering a positive customer practice. » Strong prioritization and organizational expertise to excel in a fast-paced environment. » capability to lift 50 lbs. and use a hand truck is preferred. » Exceptional follow-up expertise with a keen eye for accuracy. Logistics Coordinator Key Responsibilities: » Create and maintain shipping and delivery schedules for all orders, while also managing the inventory log. » Process invoices and handle payment reconciliations. » Engage in effective communication and negotiation with vendors to ensure competitive rates. » Maintain constant communication with shipping dock employees to ensure smooth operations. Additional Information: This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position with working hours from 8 am to 5:00 pm. The offered compensation for this job offer is $18-$20 per hour.
