adjunct Softball CoachSupports the Head Coach in all aspects of running a competitive collegiate softball program. This includes, but is not limited to, recruiting, training, mentoring student-athletes, and administrative tasks. Helps foster an environment that promotes the physical, mental, and academic growth of the players.Work Days: Monday through Friday Hours Per Week: 20 hours Weeks Per Year: 25 weeks adjunct Softball Coach - Temporary Pay Status and Classification: Non-exempt, temporary part-time manager: Head Softball Coach Essential tasks and Responsibilities: Coaching and Player Development: Assists in planning and conducting practice sessions. Provides individual and group instruction focused on skill development and team strategy during games, practice, and individual sessions. In partnership with the Head Coach evaluates player performance and provides feedback Administration: Assists in organizing and managing team logistics, including travel arrangements and equipment. Provides support in the developing and implementing game strategies. Fosters a positive and inclusive team environment. Qualifications required » Prior practice in coaching and playing softball, preferably at the high school or college level preferred. » Possess solid organizational, interpersonal and leadership abilities expertise. » knowledge of National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) rules and regulations. » capability toworka flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends is required. » Physical General Requirements: capability to lift moderately heavy items (up to 30 lbs.) and stand, bend and stoop for extended periods of time. » A valid New York State driver's license is required. » Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication expertise. » The capability to foster and enhance a thriving, culturally diverse, and inclusive learning community, while promoting a sense of belonging among students, alumni, faculty, and staff colleagues. Compensation: The rate for this job offer is $15.00 an hour. Except for functions with a set rate of pay, the wage/income of the finalist selected for this function will be set located on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, practice, education, licenses, specialty, and training.
