Machine Operator / AssemblerPosition: Machine Operator / AssemblerJob location: Poughkeepsie, NY Pay: $18-$22 per hour Job employment Type: Temp to Hire, Full-time We are pursuing a dedicated and motivated individual with practice in manufacturing or related fields, such as construction or automotive, to join our team full-time in the cutoff department. If you have prior practice operating a forklift or similar machinery, that’s a plus, but not required. Machine Operator / Assembler Responsibilities: » Identify various sizes of steel materials and cut them to specified lengths and angles. » Deburr materials and transport them to the next department for further processing. » Read and interpret drawings, use a tape measure, operate a forklift, and utilize a computer. » Engage in physical labor that requires critical thinking, standing on your feet all day. On-site training will be provided by our skilled machinists and mechanics to ensure you excel in your function. Assembly Department Opportunity: We are also expanding our assembly team. If you have some mechanical or electrical practice, you’ll be a great fit. As an assembler, you’ll lgain to build a variety of woodworking machinery, ranging from simple bench assembly to complex wiring, electrical assembly, testing, and large machinery assembly. Training will be provided on-site by our practiced team.
