Job Summary The Lally School of Management at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute seeks candidates for a tenure-track faculty position starting Fall 2025, at the adjunct Professor level, from scholars who work in areas at the cutting edge of marketing and analytics. Candidates on a quantitative marketing track are strongly preferred. Candidates must have a PhD degree in a significant business discipline from an accredited university along with demonstrated evidence of producing original and innovative scholarly work, preferably with publications in premier business journals. The prosperous candidate will join Lally as a tenure-track adjunct professor and hold one of two Carey L. Wellington Developmental Chairs. The prosperous candidate will have a demonstrated potential and commitment to effective teaching in our graduate and undergraduate courses in basic and advanced topics in and related to marketing analytics, as well as provide service to the Lally School of Management and to Rensselaer. We are particularly seeking candidates to teach Marketing Analytics and Digital Marketing under the normal teaching load of 2-2. The areas of research include marketing and analytics. Preferred candidates will have a research agenda aligned with a quantitative marketing track. practice in and deep expertise of the marketing industry and current technological industry trends would be a plus. We are expanding Lally's renowned marketing and analytics teaching and research portfolios. The Lally School of Management provides an intellectually stimulating and collaborative environment for inter-disciplinary scholarly contributions with support for research, teaching, and service. Starting income/Rate Expected hiring range: $160,000 - $170,000 Pay transparency disclosure: The selected candidate's income will be determined located on factors that include the available budget, internal equity, and the final candidate's qualifications, practice, education and other job-related credentials.
