Primary Function: Ensure the proper maintenance and security of consumer loan files, process loan payments, and respond to customer inquiries related to consumer lending. Consumer Loan Servicing SpecialistResponsibilities: » Maintain and update loan files, supply information, and prepare documents for imaging and indexing » Conduct audits of loan files and ensure security in line with guidelines » Perform routine loan maintenance, research, and payment processing » Manage and update stock certificates, including semi-annual audits and establishing stock values » Generate and process vendor reports, including claims for vehicle insurance, GAP, and discapability insurance » Handle lien perfecting for electronic and paper title states, UCC filings for boats and vehicles » Ensure compliance with all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Consumer Loan Servicing SpecialistQualifications required » Prior practice in finance or banking (teller practice is acceptable) » Strong organizational and communication expertise » capability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail » Familiarity with loan servicing or similar financial tasks is a plus If you have a background in finance or banking and are looking to expand your skill set in loan servicing, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
