We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Collections Specialist to join our Collections, Compliance and Risk Mitigation team.As the Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for establishing relationships with existing borrowers to identify and resolve problems in an effort to mitigate risk, as well as covering all functions in the Collection area. What you’ll do as the Collections Specialist: » Analyze borrower requests for hardship assistance including calculating financial ratios and conducting credit reviews » Gather information and documentation from borrowers to execute financial analysis, collateral review and recommend workout options » Work with the Mortgage Servicing Department to calculate and recommend revised loan terms to help reduce delinquency » Remain up to date and in compliance with Secondary Market guidelines » Perform Collection calls and various administrative collection tasks as needed » Follow up on outstanding title issues to perfect TEG’s lien on collateralized loans » Cover for the department manager in his/her absence Qualifications we're looking for: » 1-3 years of similar or related practice in collections and/or mortgage processing » Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification(s) or practice » Working knowledge of loan collection, regulations, and legal collection process » Knowledge of FHLB and Freddie Mac guidelines Pay: $20 - $25 per hour, located on practice APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
