Residential Loan ProcessorResidential Loan ProcessorJOB TITLE: &nb sp; Residential Mortgage ProcessorDEPARTMENT: Residential Lending REPORTS TO: VP Residential Lending FLSA CODE: Non-Exempt   ; GRADE: PRIMARY FUNCTION: Perform various lending related tasks. ESSENTIAL JOB tasks AND RESPONSIBILITIES: At Loan Opening » Set up initial physical loan file » Evaluate credit histories for applications » Review loan application for accuracy and missing or erroneous information » Obtain property information regarding taxes and zoning » Prepare and send Loan Estimate (LE) Disclosure and other required disclosures within 3 business days of receipt of application » Order flood certifications » Submit file to underwriting Upon Receipt to LE Disclosure and other requested paper work » Process upfront fees from borrowers » Review contract of sale for completion and other transaction details » Order appraisal from the approved appraiser list » Order title insurance if applicable » Order and required verifications for loan files » Assist Loan agents in gathering requested documentation » Assist Underwriter and Loan agents in clearing commitment conditions » If necessary verify tax returns, employment with use of 4506T and the Work Number ADDITIONAL JOB tasks AND RESPONSIBILITIES: » Completion of Bank assigned online training classes. » Keeps informed of all industry trends. » Attends training programs, webinars, conferences and meetings as required to gain industry expertise and establish relationships with other professionals in the field of Lending. » Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned. EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, practice: » High school diploma or equivalent certificate required. » Undergraduate degree or equivalent practice required. » A minimum of five years of practice in the residential or consumer lending is required. expertise, expertise, ABILITIES: » Excellent verbal and written communication expertise. » Good presentation expertise. » capability to effectively supervise staff and projects. » capability to multi-task and handle varying deadlines within a fast-paced work environment. » Excellent customer service expertise. » capability to understand and apply basic mathematical concepts. » Working expertise of MS Word and Excel.
