Listing description
Reporting to the Dean of the School of Education, this job offer provides leadership abilities and administrative support for Educational leadership abilities Programs (School Building Leader, School District Leader, and School District Business Leader) in the Lally School of Education. This includes working with admissions on applications and recruitment, advising program students, and coordinating internships, including the completion of required program assessments (eg., student learning assessments, AAQEP accreditation requirements). this job offer includes instruction of EDU 546 and 547 (internship courses) and liaison with internship sites. The Coordinator works closely with our education partner, Center for Integrated Teaching and Learning (CITE) to deliver The College's educational leadership abilities programs in New York City.
 
RESPONSIBILITES:  
   » Teach graduate internship courses EDU 546 and EDU 547. Meet with interns as needed and resolve issues as they arise. Assess, grade, and evaluate as appropriate.
   » Coordinate internships with student interns and site managers and process necessary paperwork.
   »  Provide Academic Advising to all program students.
   » Collaborate with admissions on program recruitment activities, including the publicizing of the program to significant students. 
   » Confer with Department Chairs on student admissions decisions.
   » Recruit and hire adjunct faculty, as required.
   » Maintain all program handbooks.
   » Collect, analyze and report program information (i.e., Student Learning results Assessment, accreditation needs) to ensure program effectiveness.
   » Coordinate cohort meetings and related documentation.
   » Participate in Department meetings, as required.
 
 

General Requirements:
   » Master's Degree in Educational leadership abilities or related field; Doctorate preferred.
   » NYS School Building Certification and NYS School District or School Business Leader Certification
   » Progressively responsible practice in P-12 education, including Administrative and managery practice  
   » Evidence of effective teaching in a P-12­­ environment.
   » Demonstrated knowledge of program assessment.
   » Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication expertise.
   » availability and capability to conduct meetings and attend programs in the evenings and some weekends all over the year, as well as a flexible schedule of work hours (including times all over the day), as necessary to accommodate the schedule of students and programs.

Additional Information:
This is a  one-year , part-time, full year position.  
Beginning in August 2023, with an expected end date on or about August 15, 2024. 

A flexible schedule of work hours (approximately 20-25 hours/week) is necessary in order to accommodate the schedule of students and internship providers.  Ideally, availcapability will include some mornings, afternoons and evenings--with rare weekend hours-- on a semester by semester basis. Programs also meet for orientation during the  Summer semester on Campus.
In addition to income, compensation includes health and dental benefits, time off, a tuition remission plan for employees and dependents, a 403b located retirement plan and wellness programs including the use of our fitness center.

Visa sponsorships are located solely on the needs of the College and at the sole discretion of the College.
The College of Saint Rose participates in E-Verify.
