The Event Manager works with the Director of Marketing and Promotions to develop and implement strategies related to revenue generation, increasing attendance, enhancing campus spirit, the fan practice, and community relations, and augmenting the visibility of the Institute. The event manager also works with the Director, Athletics Facilities & Operations on the day-to-day scheduling, contracting, and maintenance of the Houston Field House. Minimum Qualifications » Bachelor's Degree in related field » 3 or more years practice in an athletic venue(s) and managing and analyzing event budgets Or significant combination of education, professional practice and training. significant combinations of education, training and practice may be considered.
