Job Summary The Sr. Alumni Engagement agent is responsible for developing and implementing programs and activities with alumni. this job offer is responsible for encouraging life-long involvement and engagement with the Office of Alumni Engagement, Institute Advancement and Rensselaer. The Sr. Engagement agent coordinates the overall strategy for regional and graduate alumni programs with schools and departments on campus and works closely with volunteers, graduate students, peers, and campus academic leaders. this job offer will manage all aspects of the program relating to the development of alumni/ae engagement and volunteer models, and the creation of specific goals to meet desired results. this job offer will carry a portfolio of prospects at the annual giving level. Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's degree • 5-7 years advancement or volunteer/constituent relations practice, preferably in an educational setting • Demonstrated fundraising practice • Valid driver's license significant combinations of education, training and practice may be considered. Preferred Qualifications Minimum expertise, expertise, and Abilities • Must be a self-starter and have the capability to plan and implement multiple programs and events with limited supervision. • Proficiency in office suite software (MS Office or equivalent) • Excellent communication and organizational expertise • Excellent interpersonal and networking expertise and the capability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community • capability to implement professional events on short deadline and deliver diverse and complex projects • Planning, organizing and effective time management expertise • capability to work effectively under pressure and meet established goals and objectives • capability to anticipate and solve problems • capability to work in a team environment • Must possess confident, mature demeanor at all times Shift Business Hours with weekends or evenings occasionally required TravelRegular overnight travel is required (up to 25%) Driving Driving a personal vehicle for non-passenger use Starting income/Rate Expected hiring range: $88,000 - $100,000 Pay transparency disclosure: The selected candidate's income will be determined located on factors that include the available budget, internal equity, and the final candidate's qualifications, practice, education and other job-related credentials.
