We are pursuing a dedicated and motivated Route Driver!Route DriverWe are pursuing a dedicated and motivated Route Driver to be a part of our Chris’ Coffee team. We are a local family owned and operated coffee roaster & distributor that’s been in business since 1975. We are proud to say that we roast over 1 million lbs. of coffee per year and are looking for the right candidate to help support our growing company.The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering products to various locations while providing exceptional customer service. this function requires a strong capability to communicate effectively, perform heavy lifting, and manage sales opportunities through upselling and effective route driving. Responsibilities: » Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport products to designated locations. » Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies while on the road. » Perform heavy lifting as required to load and unload products. » Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules and product offerings. » Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including pricing and inventory levels. » Utilize sales techniques to upsell products during deliveries. » Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through excellent service and communication. » Checking load accuracy and pulling product orders as needed for the following days deliveries. Qualifications required » Must have valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. » Must have at least 2 years of delivery driving practice. » Required everyday to stand, walk & use your hands. » Must be able to frequently lift or move 75 lbs. unassisted and perform physical tasks connected with loading and unloading product. » Preferred but not necessary to be forklift and pallet jack certified; we can provide on-site training/certification. » Strong attention to detail and excellent time management expertise with the capability to meet delivery deadlines. » Good communication expertise and the capability to interact professionally with customers and coworkers.
