We are pursuing a skilled Identity and Access Management (IAM) Analyst to join our team and play a crucial function in maintaining and enhancing our IAM solution. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of identity and access management principles, along with hands on practice in supporting IAM workflows, platform maintenance, and function-located access control (RBAC) development. What does an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Analyst do? » Manages and supports the organization’s IAM platform ensuring it’s availcapability, relicapability, and security. » supervises joiner/mover/leaver (JML) workflows, collaborating with HR, IT, and other departments to ensure smooth onboarding, changes, and offboarding processes. » Develops, implements, and optimizes RBAC policies to enforce the principle of least privilege and ensure data security. » Collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective IAM solutions. » Troubleshoots and resolves IAM related technical issues, working to minimize downtime and ensure user satisfaction. » Monitors access controls, audit logs, and user permissions to identify and address any anomalies or potential security risks. » Stays updated on industry best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory requirements related to IAM and data privacy. » Contributes to documentation efforts by maintaining clear and comprehensive records of IAM processes, workflows, and configurations. » Assists in conducting access reviews and audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. » Participates in the evaluation and selection of new IAM technologies, tools, and solutions to enhance the organizations security posture. » Participates in special projects to improve Processes and Technologies. » Takes responsibility for personal learning, development, and time management, setting achievable and significant work jobs and managing personal targets. » Demonstrates a commitment to Central Hudson organizational values, including performing to a high ethical standard and focused on integrity, collaboration, and teamwork in all efforts. What does it take to be a Identity and Access Management (IAM) Analyst? Required: » Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field of study. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, an associate’s degree with 3 years of relate practice or a high school diploma or equivalency degree and 5 years of related practice will be considered. » Proven practice working with identity and access management technologies and concepts » Hands on practice with identity platforms such as Active Directory, Okta, Azure AD, or similar » Strong knowledge of RBAC principles and practice in developing and implementing RBAC policies » Familiarity with JML workflows and their integration with IAM processes » Knowledge of security frameworks, compliance standards, and data protection regulations (e.g. GDPR, HIPAA) » Excellent problem-solving expertise and capability to analyze complex technical issues » Strong communication expertise to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders » Valid driver’s license Preferred: » Certifications related to security, risk management, and IAM this job offer has a career path which allows for advancement opportunities within a job series.
