RN School Nurselisting title: RN School NurseJob location: Newburgh, NY Pay Rate: $40 per hour Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Duration: 8 to 12 weeks (Possible full-time direct hire after completion of temporary position) We are pursuing a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with practice in pediatrics or school nursing to join our team in a preschool educational setting in Newburgh, NY. This is a temporary position, with the potential for a permanent full-time function. Responsibilities: » Perform health assessments and charting for Pre-K students » Provide medical care, administer medications, and treatment as needed » Communicate effectively with parents regarding student health concerns » Monitor and manage student immunization records » Ensure the overall health and safety of students in the school environment Qualifications required » Valid RN license in New York State » Pediatric or school nursing practice required » Strong communication expertise and capability to work with young children and parents Immediate Hire Opportunity: this job offer is available for immediate hire for an 8 to 12-week period, with the possibility of transitioning to a full-time, permanent position.
