Sun River Health is a Federally Qualified, Non-Profit Health Center serving communities in Suffolk, Rockland, Orange, Dutchess, Ulster, Sullivan, Columbia and Westchester County. Sun River Health is currently seeking a full-time Patient Care Advisor to join our team.A Patient Care Advisor is responsible for providing patient centered care and facilitating patient access to services in a pleasant, expertiseable efficient manner, communicating with a diverse population using well-developed interpersonal expertise. This staff member will be responsible for all aspects of answering telephone calls. They will route calls appropriately and manage appointments. Performs job tasks in compliance with systems and job specific standards. Essential tasks and Responsibilities of a Patient Care Advisor: » Assists with everyday reception activities and ensuring that all processes needed for patient services are initiated. » Communicates effectively with team members and patients about all aspects of service. » Responsible for telephone contact with patients and care team members. » Responsible for the scheduling of appointments, explanation of services and routing of calls. » Assists patients with all information related to HRHCare services and programs. Minimum Education Requirement: High school diploma/ GED Minimum Work-Related practice: 2-4 years Hourly Range: $16.75 -$18.25 /hour Profil / Compétences:
