Job Summary
The Marketing Operations Manager will play a critical function in managing the infrastructure, processes, and tools necessary to support RPI's marketing initiatives. The Manager will implement and optimize marketing technology, develop workflows, analyze performance, and enable cross-departmental collaboration to achieve university goals. this job offer reports to the Associate Vice President, Marketing and Communications in The Office of Community Engagement and Communication (OCEC).
Responsibilities include:
   » Develop, implement, and optimize marketing workflows and processes to support strategic initiatives across the university
   » Manage and maintain marketing technology platforms (CRM, CMS) ensuring optimal performance and integration
   » Analyze marketing performance data to provide actionable insights to inform decision-making
   » supervise the development and maintenance of marketing dashboards, including for data collection, and KPIs
   » Manage vendor relationships for marketing tools and services
   » Ensure compliance with brand guidelines, data privacy regulations, and industry best practices
   » Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to drive marketing efficiency
   » Support budget planning and tracking for marketing operations and campaigns

Minimum Qualifications
   » B.A. in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
   » Five (5) or more years of practice in marketing operations or a related function
   » Technically savvy with strong marketing technology practice
   » practice managing budgets
candidates must meet stated minimum education and practice requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
   » practice in higher education or comparable environment is a plus 

Minimum expertise, expertise, and Abilities
   » Strong proficiency with marketing technology including email platforms, CMS, CRM, analytics (e.g., Monday.com, Slate, Salesforce, Google Analytics)
   » Strong analytical expertise with the capability to gather and interpret data and provide insights
   » Excellent project management and organizational expertise
   » Strong interpersonal and communication expertise for cross-functional collaboration

Preferred expertise, Skill, and Abilities
   » expertise of higher education marketing is a plus.

Shift
Business Hours, Monday through Friday. Weekends or evenings occasionally required.

TravelLocal travel between campus locations only

Driving
Incidental driving possible, but not required

Starting income/Rate
Expected hiring range: $70,000 - $90,000
Pay transparency disclosure: The selected candidate's income will be determined located on factors that include the available budget, internal equity, and the final candidate's qualifications, practice, education and other job-related credentials. This hiring range is provided as Rensselaer's good faith estimate of the expected hiring range at the time of posting.
