Nassau Ambulance is looking to hire for the position of Ambulance Staffing manager for an exciting opportunity to coordinate staff, services and help enhance a prehospital support system for Two Towns in Rensselaer County NY. Minimum Qualifications required • NYS Certified EMT-B or above • 5 years of practice in pre-hospital setting. • Valid NYS Driver’s License or equivalent • 2 years of practice with managing or supervising staff • capability to cooperatively work with both paid and volunteer personnel • capability to organize, manage, train and communicate with all staff • Competency with Microsoft Office products Desired Qualifications required • AHA BLS Instructor • NYS CLI or CIC • practice with Physio products • Managerial practice in EMS Charts Job Highlights • this job offer is responsible for assisting in the direction, planning, implementation, and maintenance of a Basic Life Support Emergency Medical Service. • supervise the Operations: scheduling of staff, equipment acquisition and maintenance, maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations governing ambulance operations. • supervise the QA/QI program for the agency in coordination with the medical director. • Maintain standard operating policies, procedures and guidelines for services, personnel, equipment, and vehicles. • supervise coaching, guidance, discipline, and/or termination of team members. • Report to the Board of Directors regarding EMS performance. • Benefits including health insurance, paid leave and 401K income will be determined located on practice All interested candidates are highly encouraged to submit a cover letter and current CV to applicant@nassauambulance.org Skills:
