adjunct RegistrarThe adjunct Registrar works with the Registrar and other adjunct Registrars in the general administration of all undergraduate and graduate student records. this job offer provides quality service to students, faculty and staff in relation to the Registrar's Office and the various office responsibilities listed below.RESPONSIBILITIES: » Maintain student records. » Assist with student academic issues including, but not limited to: registration, transfer credit, course substitutions, graduation requirements, and study abroad. » Verify certification & licensure General Requirements: NYS teacher certification and professional licensure. » Interact with faculty and advisors regarding academic matters. » Participate in Commencement preparations. » May supervise student workers. » Performs other job-related tasks as assigned; works cooperatively in a team-centered environment. General Requirements: » Associate's Degree or higher » Minimum of six months of administrative office practice » Excellent interpersonal expertise with the capability to communicate and interact well with people of all ages and diverse backgrounds. » Possess the highest degree of integrity and maturity due to the sensitive, confidential nature of students' records. » capability to compose correspondence and proofread and edit documents. » Strong organizational expertise with the capability to work independently and collaboratively. » Effectively manage multiple projects and able to analyze and solve problems in a rapidly changing environment. » Possess effective problem-solving expertise. » capability to work cooperatively in a team-centered environment. » Demonstrated knowledge and consideration of the differing needs and concerns of individuals with varying identities, abilities, cultures, and backgrounds. » practice working in the higher education environment preferred. » practice with Banner, Degree Works, and Microsoft Office highly desired.
