The Project Manager will collaborate with others from the Work and Asset Management Division to support the design, use and success of implemented asset-located maintenance and inspection systems that adheres to the industry standard, ISO 55001 best practices. For electric assets, Cascade is the system used for managing the asset model and all inspection and maintenance activities. For gas assets, Inspection Manager is the system used for managing the asset model and all inspection and maintenance activities. Both products are provided by DNV and a strong relationship with DNV’s support staff is important within this function. Some assets still reside in systems outside Cascade and Inspection Manager and projects to include them in the appropriate system are engaged with the business units. The Project Manager will participate in the exploration and design sessions to understand the assets and the connected maintenance and inspection needs. The Project Manager will use the information gathered in these meetings to recommend viable solutions within the appropriate system. What does a Project Manager- Work and Asset Management do? » Becomes familiar with the business requirements connected with Enterprise Work & Asset Management. » Designs and uses the asset located maintenance and inspection systems and ensure that they adhere to the industry standard, ISO 55001 best practices. » Explores implementation of condition, criticality and risk frameworks for significant asset classes to help support inputs to the capital construction planning process. » Monitors and evaluates the performance and condition of company assets in order to comply with the corporate asset management strategy » Gains technical expertise of Cascade and Inspection Manager through cross training. » Database scripting (e.g. SQL, PL/SQL) and coding with Python for spatial analysis within ArcGIS. » Works with the ServiceDesk to facilitate access for end users to both Cascade and Inspection Manager. » Provides troubleshooting support when issues are identified by the business units for Cascade or Inspection Manager. » Identifies opportunities for improvement within Cascade and Inspection Manager by exploring more effective uses of the software. » Provides use case guidance to the business units to help them obtain the greatest value from the significant system. » Provides end user training for Cascade and Inspection Manager to help support the proper and effective use of both software platforms. » Designs and validates the accuracy of adhoc reports and analysis to support the business as required. » Works under general supervision, take ownership of project/task completion and meet deadlines. » Supports storm/emergency restoration efforts What does it take to be a Project Manager- Work and Asset Management ? Required : » Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, data analytics, or another STEM related field and practice in data analysis, project management or related field. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, an associate’s degree in aforementioned fields of study and 3 years of practice in data analysis, project management or related field » Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and capability to lgain new computer software programs quickly. » Prior practice using Microsoft Excel to prepare and analyze large and/or complex data sets and extract insights. » Outstanding analytic, problem solving, and decision-making expertise; proven capability to discern critical from minor problems. » Well-developed written/verbal communication expertise, planning and organizational expertise; must be able to explain technical complexities to non-technical individuals. » Strong interpersonal expertise in areas such as facilitation & negotiation and the capability to work with internal customers, vendors and contractors. » Must be able to adapt to a number and variety of assignments, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. » Must be able to work in a team environment as well as independently with minimal supervision. » Must be able to multitask and pay close attention to detail. » Valid driver's license.
