Clinician/Social Worker, Intensive Aftercare avoidance ProgramPOSITION OVERVIEWClinician, IAPPthis job offer is responsible for providing home-located clinical services with children and their families to help preserve or reunite them in conformity with Northeast Parent & Child Society'sstated purpose and mission of protecting children, preserving families and strengthening communities. ESSENTIAL tasks AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other tasks may be assigned. » Provide home and community located assessment, planning and treatment with individuals, groups and families with those enrolled in our Family Preservation services (the level of intensity / number of direct services hours per family is dependent upon the services in which one is employed) » Complete necessary all records and client information in conformity with agency, county, and state policy and funding requirements » Continue expertise development through agency-provided clinical / core training » Provide liaison contact with collateral resources such as referring agencies, schools, family court, and other agency personnel serving on behalf of a child and/ or family as it relates to their treatment » Primarily responsible for the clinician decisions when assigned and paired to work as a team with a Bachelors Clinician (Family Case Manager or Clinician Case Manager). » Ensure provisions of regular treatment plan meetings and services plan reviews. » capability and availability to do the job as it is today and change as the job changes. EDUCATION and/or practice Requires a Masters degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or related field and at least one year of post-graduate practice.
