Job Summary The Administrative Coordinator manages and supervises the day-to-day operations and administrative support activities of the Dean of Students Office and Conference Room. this job offer serves as the primary point of contact for both internal and external constituencies, assists and represents the Dean of Students (DOS) in communicating with constituents, and handles multiple issues and concerns as they arise. The Administrative Coordinator coordinates logistics for programming and completes special projects as needed by offices in the Dean of Students portfolio. Minimum Qualifications » HS Diploma or GED » 5 years of related administrative practice having performed scheduling, office administration, and organizational tasks significant combinations of education, training and practice may be considered. Preferred Qualifications » Associate's Degree or higher Minimum expertise, expertise, and Abilities » Proficient with MS Office Suite or similar word processing, spreadsheet, presentation development program, email and database applications » capability to work with sensitive information in a confidential and diplomatic manner » capability to prioritize, plan, and organize » capability to work independently without constant supervision » capability to adapt to change quickly » Excellent verbal and written communication expertise » Demonstrated practice in providing web-located content and social media related sites » capability to interact with others in a professional and effective manner » capability to manage multiple projects at the same time » capability to anticipate and solve problems » capability to work independently and as part of a team » capability to work with a wide variety of diverse internal and external constituencies Shift Business Hours: Monday - Friday Starting income/Rate Expected hiring range: $20.00 - $23.72 per hour Pay transparency disclosure: The selected candidate's income will be determined located on factors that include the available budget, internal equity, and the final candidate's qualifications, practice, education and other job-related credentials.
