Direct Hire Air Quality MonitorAir Quality MonitorJob location: Brewster, NY income: $20 per hour Type of employment: Full-time, Direct Hire We are currently seeking an Air Quality Monitor with practice in Asbestos monitoring to join our team in Brewster, NY. The prosperous candidate will be responsible for monitoring air quality during Asbestos remediation projects, ensuring that work is carried out in conformity with regulations and procedures, and that all workers are wearing the appropriate protective equipment. Air Quality Monitor General Requirements: » At least 1 year of practice in Asbestos monitoring or related field » Must be willing to wear a respirator and pass a physical and fit test » Strong attention to detail and capability to work independently » capability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously » Good written and verbal communication expertise » Familiarity with significant safety regulations and procedures Air Quality Monitor Responsibilities: » Conducting regular air quality tests at designated intervals during Asbestos remediation projects » Recording and reporting air quality data accurately and timely » Monitoring workers to ensure that they are wearing protective equipment and adhering to safety procedures » Ensuring that remediation work is carried out in conformity with significant regulations and procedures » Identifying and reporting any deviations from established safety protocols or regulatory requirements » Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all air quality monitoring activities This is a full-time, direct hire position, offering a competitive income of $20 per hour. Although certification in both New York State and New York City is desirable, we will provide training to appropriate candidates. The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient, possess strong computer expertise, and be willing to travel broadly all over New York State, often for several weeks at a time. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are essential for this job offer. We will reimburse employees $0.625 per mile for mileage expenses and provide $55 per day for per diem for overnight stays. The company will also arrange and cover the cost of the hotel.
