Service WriterOur client in Hyde Park is seeking a Service Writer. As a Service Writer you will facilitate the customer process for proper maintenance, repair and all other vehicle needs as the face of the dealership. You will be accountable to maintain manufacture standards for documentation and product knowledge.This is a full time, temp-to-hire opportunity. Schedule: Tuesday-Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday 9am-3pm Pay: $18-$25 per hour ServiceWriter Requirements: » Previous practice as a service writer or in the automotive industry » knowledge of equipment, how it works, and what repairs may be needed » Strong verbal and intercommunication expertise - Interacting with management all over the various phases of the process Service Writer Job tasks: » Greets customers and listens to problems about equipment operation » Keeps customers updated regarding equipment status. » Identifies what services are needed, researches equipment's maintenance history, and prepares service order requests. » Reviews guidelines to prepare estimates of labor hours and parts required for repairs. » Contacts customers and schedules preventative maintenance or inspections on vehicles. » Performs other tasks and special projects as requested.
