SIFE/NEWCOMER TEACHER- DCB 2061- 23/24TEACHER – SIFE – NEWCOMER(1.0 FTE) LOCATION(S): Alternative High School tasks: this job offer will provide support to students with interrupted formal education (SIFE) in a program serving schools in Dutchess County. Students will attend on a whole or half day basis. Professional development in the BRIDGES Curriculum will be provided to the teacher all over the school year. This is a newer service and, as such, the prosperous candidate will be involved in developing, implementing and evaluating the program as it evolves. QUALIFICATIONS : Certification: English 7-12 or Literacy 7-12 and Bilingual Extension. practice working with English Language Learners required. practice working with SIFE or Newcomers preferred.
