Funeral DirectorFamily-owned funeral home in search of Funeral Director in the Ulster County area.As a Funeral Director, you’ll be responsible for providing a source of support, guidance, and direction to families before, during, and after the loss of a loved one. Funeral Director General Requirements: » Must be a NYS Licensed Funeral Director » Graduated from an accredited school or college of mortuary science » Excellent communication expertise, integrity, and an innate passion for serving others Funeral Director Job tasks: » Assisting with everyday funeral responsibilities » Responding to first calls, answering phones and directing calls to appropriate team members » Greeting and receiving client families and others entering the facilities for information and assistance » Maintaining a friendly and pleasant attitude while offering assistance and guidance to all persons entering the facility » Driving funeral vehicles and embalming income for this job offer will be $55,000-$70,000 per year depending on practice level. Hours: 40 hour work week, every other weekend off, one day during the week off and a night during the week off. Flexibility of availcapability is necessary as services may occur outside of normal business hours and working nights and weekends is frequently necessary. Please apply for immediate consideration.
